Test Your Working Memory
The Sequence Memory Test mimics the classic electronic game "Simon Says." It measures the capacity of your visual-spatial working memory. This is the ability to temporarily hold and manipulate visual information (locations and sequences) in your mind.
Average Scores
- Level 1-5: Average. Most people can comfortably reach this stage.
- Level 6-10: Above Average. Good focus and short-term retention.
- Level 15+: Exceptional. This places you in the top tier of memory performance.
How to improve?
The secret to high scores is "Chunking." Instead of trying to remember "Top-Left, Bottom-Right, Middle...", try to group the flashes into shapes (like a triangle or a line). Remembering one shape is easier for your brain than remembering three separate positions.
