Why do you need Meta Tags?
Meta tags are snippets of code that tell search engines and social media platforms what your website is about. They don't appear on the page itself, but in the code's <head> section.
Key Tags Explained
- Title Tag: The most important SEO factor. It appears as the blue link in Google search results. Ideally 50-60 characters.
- Meta Description: A summary of your page. Google often uses this for the text under the title. Ideally 150-160 characters.
- Open Graph (OG): Developed by Facebook, these tags control how your link looks when shared on social media (image, title, description).
- Twitter Cards: Specific tags that allow you to attach rich photos and videos to Tweets that link to your content.
